This course is designed to prepare the student to perform the duties and responsibilities of an Incident Safety Officer at a variety of emergencies. This textbook provides valuable information pertaining to several topics including reading: buildings, smoke, risk, hazardous energy and firefighters. In addition, it provides specific information to be utilized by the ISO at structure fires, wildland and ground cover fires, hazardous materials incidents, and technical rescue incidents.
