Truck Company Operations
Full Description
This course is designed to provide firefighters with an in-depth understanding of truck company operations. This course is NOT exclusively designed for fire department members who operate ladder trucks or aerial devices. The focus of the course will be to cover essential functions typically assigned to a truck company. This course will cover several key fire-ground functions including search and rescue, ventilation techniques and flow path management, forcible entry skills including through-the-lock techniques, ground ladder operations, VEIS operations and TIC search operations.

Resources Required
Students are required to have full personal protective clothing which meets NFPA 1971. Personal SCBA’s will not be required but are recommended for the course.

Report to the classroom at 8:00am for the first day of class.
