Full Description
Cummins Clean Fuel Technologies First Responder training prepares emergency personnel to safely manage incidents involving Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) vehicles.  The training focuses on identifying CNG components, understanding Pressure Relief Devices (PRDs), proper vent tube operation, fuel system inspection, safe towing and emergency response procedures.  

Course Highlights & Learning Objectives

CNG Safety Basics: Properties of CNG, technician safety tips, and facility requirements.

System Components: Understanding container types, valves, PRDs, and vent systems.

Emergency Procedures: Techniques for depressurizing "yellow/orange" tubes and defueling "red" tubes.

Operational Safety: Proper pre/post-trip inspections, fueling safety, and safe towing practices.

Regulatory Compliance: Information regarding CGA C-6.4
